FLYING DEBRIS

Posted by richardbennice on 10/3/2007

My neighbor has her lawn service by Dreamlawns. Since early this year, the crew has arrived weekly and they are F A S T. One employee is on a standup mower with no guard/shield in place. The guard/shield is on the mower, but I guess it is too much trouble for the employee to lower the guard. The guard in the upright position allows debris to fly out of the mower horizontally and to travel 15 to 20 feet onto my property. Sometimes, into open windows. I have complained to the crew a number of times and I have called the Dreamlawns office 3 times regarding this problem. BUT, NOTHING HAS CHANGED. In my opinion, the crew is in a hurry, somewhat reckless, and I feel that they should look around to see what they are doing to adjoining property. Perhaps, Dreamlawns should consider bag mowers or at the very least to educate their employees regarding other property that they are affecting.
