Virginia's most visited state park, First Landing offers visitors a wealth of hiking, swimming, boating, fishing, and camping opportunities. It encompasses nearly 3,000 acres on Chesapeake Bay, just south of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. On June 17, 2006, First Landing commemorated the Virginia State Park system's 70th anniversary by building the world's biggest s'more, utilizing 55,000 graham crackers, 40,000 marshmallows, 8,000 chocolate bars, and 1,000 volunteers.
